Who will be the next EU leaders?

An Interactive workshop that will explore what the new balance of power the European Elections bring. A session that will help Association leaders identify the key players and best plan their advocacy and monitoring strategies.
What do the new actors bring in the complex EU political landscape and which direction are we going?
- Examine election results and implications for the selection of new EU leaders ( Commission ,EP, European Council, Foreign Minister, ECB)
- Formation of new political groups – the influence of populists
- Impact on forming alliances to influence new decision-makers
Chatham House rules will apply so that Association Leaders can interact freely.
The workshop is the second in a row in the series “Roadmap for the EU super-Year“, led and presented by Interel’s Richard Steel.
Richard has 30 years’ experience of working in and around the European Parliament, informing and advising clients on the latest developments, and providing early warning on what lies ahead. He has worked for a large number of international associations, mainly in the fields of energy, environment, food, and health.
